Great walks for Moortown guests and their perky pooches!

Moortown puts you right at the heart of some fantastic walks. Some start right on our doorstep, others begin a little further afield but can be easily accessed by car. We’ve listed a selection below, starting with those closest to us.

Short Ringwood Walk 1:

A 25 minute walk, mostly on pavements and quiet paths, encompassing sights such as The Old Railway and The Marketplace Jubilee Column.

Short Ringwood Walk 2:

A 30 minute walk around quiet roads, taking in local landmarks including Trinity Church and the War Memorial Gardens.

Hightown & Crow Walk:

Approximately an hour long walk, taking in sights such as The Old Railway and woodlands.

Crow & Kingston Walk:

Approximately an hour and a half long walk, taking in the Memorial Gardens, The Old Railway and Avon Valley Path, with longer and shorter routes available.

A little over an hours’ walk, starting at the Poulner Lakes car park, this walk gives you the option to continue and enjoy endless walks in the National Park.

Short Poulner Walk 1:

This 35 minute walk includes some steep paths and takes in an 18th century grade II listed thatched cottage and The Roads on the housing estate, named after some distinguished sailors.

A 45 minute walk taking in the Poulner Lakes and the Linbrook Stream. This walk can become muddy so be prepared!
