A 20 minute drive away at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre, Peter Pan will be playing until 4th January. Just Children’s favourite and Blue Peter Presenter Barney Harwood is playing Peter Pan and Mark Benton stars as Captain Hook. Fresh from the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing, he is also well known for his role as Mr Chalke in BBC1’s Waterloo Road.

Throughout January and most of February, you’ll find the Cool Coast Ice Rink at the BIC in Bournemouth, the South Coast’s biggest indoor seasonal ice rink. Perfect for kids and adults alike, there are even handy Ice Skating penguin aids in a specially assigned Cool Kids area, separate from the main rink.

Every Wednesday, stalls fill the Market Place in Ringwood, selling food produce, plants and general house goods. Henry III granted the Market Charter to the Earl of Pembroke in 1226.

Get exploring

Moortown puts you right at the heart of some fantastic walks. Some start right on our doorstep, in Ringwood. There’s a 25 minute walk, mostly on pavements and quiet paths, encompassing sights such as The Old Railway and The Marketplace Jubilee Column.
